Old Fashioned Potato Salad
|Diced cooked potatoes||1 1⁄2 Liter (6 Cups)|
|Freshly ground pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Tarragon||1 1⁄4 Pinch (1 Generous Pinch)|
|Fresh lemon juice||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Salad oil||50 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)|
|Celery||250 Milliliter, diced (1 Cup)|
|Grand mere dressing||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place the diced potatoes in a large bowl.
Blend together in a bottle the salt, pepper, dry mustard, tarragon, garlic powder, fresh lemon juice and salad oil.
Pour over the potatoes.
Toss gendy, cover the bowl.
Leave 2 hours on kitchen counter.
Add the celery and 1/2 cup (125 mL) or so of Grand-mere's cooked dressing.
Serve in a nest of lettuce or watercress.
