Lettuce And Bacon Salad

Ingredients
  Streaky bacon rashers 8 Ounce, derinded and diced (250 Gram, Unsmoked)
  Spring onions 8 , finely chopped
  Red wine vinegar 4 Tablespoon
  Water 4 Tablespoon
  Sugar 4 Teaspoon
  Cabbage 2 Large (Soft-Leaved)
  Lettuce 2 Large
  Radishes 6 , thinly sliced
  Hard boiled egg 1 , finely chopped
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Fry the bacon in a dry frying pan until it is crisp and has rendered its fat.
Remove with a slotted spoon.
Add the spring onions to the pan and fry until softened.
Stir in the vinegar, water, sugar, bacon and salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to the boil, stirring.
Tear the lettuce into small pieces and place in a salad bowl.
Pour over the hot dressing and toss well.
Garnish with the radishes and sprinkle the egg on top.
Serve immediately.
