Frozen Fruit Salad
|Cream cheese||6 Ounce (2 Packages, 3 Ounce Each)|
|Mayonnaise||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned fruit cocktail||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs), well drained (1 No. 2 1/2 Can)|
|Maraschino cherries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), drained, quartered|
|Tiny marshmallows/24 large marshmallows, cut into pieces||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped|
|Red food coloring/Maraschino cherry juice||5 Drop (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
Soften cream cheese; blend with mayonnaise.
Stir in fruits and marshmallows.
Fold in whipped cream.
Tint with few drops red food coloring or maraschino-cherry juice, if desired.
Pour mixture into two 1-quart round ice-cream or freezer containers, or two No.
2 1/2 cans (or use refrigerator trays).
Freeze until firm, about 6 hours or overnight.
To serve, let stand out a few minutes, then remove from containers.
Cut in slices.
Serve atop lettuce leaves.
Trim with maraschino cherries (stems on), if you like.
