Shredded Tossed Greens
|Head of lettuce||1 Medium, washed and chilled|
|Green pepper||1 Medium, finely chopped|
|Red onion||1 Small, thinly sliced and separated into rings|
|Bottled oil and vinegar salad dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chili powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
Shred lettuce with knife.
Place in large plastic bag.
Add green pepper and onion rings and refrigerate.
Just before serving, mix salad dressing and chili powder; pour into bag.
Close bag and shake until vegetables are coated with dressing.
Pour into salad bowl.
