Wilted Lettuce Salad
|Vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Green onions||2 , finely sliced|
1. Arrange bacon slices in single layer in 12 x 7-inch glass baking dish.
2. Microwave 4 to 7 minutes on HIGH, or until bacon is crisp. Drain bacon, reserving 2 tablespoons bacon drippings; crumble, and set aside. Combine reserved bacon drippings and remaining ingredients, except lettuce and onion, in small glass mixing bowl; mix well.
3. Microwave 2 to 4 minutes on HIGH, or until hot (about 200°F). Place lettuce and onion in salad bowl. Pour on hot dressing. Toss lightly to coat lettuce leaves. Sprinkle bacon overtop; serve.
