Jellied Cranberry And Orange Salad
|Orange flavored gelatin||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Hot water||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Raw cranberries||2 Pound|
|Oranges||1 Pound, unpeeled (2 large)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Salad greens||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Dissolve gelatin and salt in hot water.
Chill until slightly thickened.
Force cranberries and oranges through food chopper, using medium blade; mix with sugar and fold into gelatin.
Pour into shallow pans to a depth of 1 1/4 inches.
Chill until firm.
Cut into squares and serve on greens with a garnish of mayonnaise.
Serve with poultry or cold meats
