Jellied Cranberry Salad
|Minced raw cranberries||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon jelly powder||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Crushed pineapple||10 Ounce|
|Chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine cranberries and sugar.
Dissolve jelly powder in boiling water.
Add undrained pineapple and chill until thick.
Stir in cranberry mixture, celery and nuts.
Pour into a 5-cup greased ring mold and chill until firm.
Unmold on serving platter, and if desired fill centre with cottage cheese and a garnish of green pepper.
