Smorgasbord Bean Salad
1 (4-oz) can Vienna sausage
1/3 cup French dressing
1 (20-oz) can chick peas
1 (10-oz) can lima beans
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/4 tsp garlic salt
Saute the diced bacon slowly until crisp.
Pour off the drippings, then add sliced sausage and French dressing to the bacon.
Heat and add drained peas and beans.
Remove from heat and add onions.
Sprinkle with garlic salt and taste for seasoning.
Scrape into a bowl and chill for several hours to blend flavors.
Garnish with grated hard-cooked egg if you wish.
