Garden Salad Toss
|For sweet sour dressing|
|Torn salad greens||2 Quart (assorted romaine or Iceberg lettuce, endive, spinach or escarole)|
|Cucumber||1 Small, thinly sliced|
|Green pepper||1 Small, cut into 1 x 1/8 inch strips|
|Red onion||1⁄2 Small, thinly sliced into rings|
|Cherry tomatoes||12 , cut into halves|
|Fresh bean sprouts||1 Cup (16 tbs), washed and drained|
|Diced cooked chicken||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
1. Prepare Sweet-Sour Dressing.
2. Place salad greens, cucumber, green pepper, onion, tomatoes and bean sprouts in large salad bowl; toss lightly. Pour 3/4 cup of the dressing over salad. Gently toss salad until greens are coated.
3. Arrange chicken over top of salad. Pour remaining dressing evenly over chicken; sprinkle with ground pepper.
