Pineapple Orange Gelatin Salad
|Canned crushed pineapple in juice||20 Ounce (1 Can, Undrained)|
|Sugar free orange flavored gelatin||1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Low fat buttermilk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Frozen fat free whipped topping||4 Cup (64 tbs), thawed and divided|
|Chopped pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), toasted|
|Chopped pecans||8 Teaspoon, toasted|
1. Bring pineapple in juice to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat,-gradually add gelatin, stirring 2 minutes or until gelatin dissolves. Pour into a large bowl, and cool 30 minutes.
2. Add buttermilk to pineapple mixture, cover and chill 20 minutes or until the consistency of unbeaten egg white. Fold in 3 cups whipped topping and 1/2 cup chopped pecans.
3. Spoon into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Cover,- chill at least 4 hours or until set.
4. Cut salad into squares.
