Fruited Salad

Ingredients
  Long grain and wild rice 6 Ounce (1 package)
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Oranges 2 Medium
  Mayonnaise/Mayonnaise-style salad dressing 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sliced celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Orange juice 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Seedless green grapes 1⁄2 Pound, washed and halved
  Cantaloupe rings/Honeydew melon rings 6
  Crisp salad greens 3
Directions

Cook contents of rice and seasoning packets with water and butter or margarine according to package directions.
Chill.
Wash oranges and grate 2 teaspoons of the orange peel; reserve.
Peel oranges and remove white membrane.
Dice oranges and set aside.
Mix together rice, mayonnaise or salad dressing, celery, pecans, orange juice, orange peel and sugar.
Chill well.
Just before serving, add diced oranges and grapes.
Mix well.
