Sweet Sour Tuna Salad

Ingredients
  Brand rice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Canned pineapple tidbits 13 1⁄2 Ounce (Or Chunks, 1 Can)
  Mayonnaise/Mayonnaise-style salad dressing 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Soy sauce 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Canned tuna 7 Ounce, drained, flaked (1 Can)
  Green pepper 1 Small, chopped
  Cherry tomatoes 12 , cut in half
  Crisp salad greens 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cook rice with water, salt and butter or margarine according to package directions.
Chill well.
Drain pineapple tidbits or chunks; reserve 2 tablespoons syrup.
In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise or salad dressing, pineapple syrup, soy sauce and garlic salt.
Mix well.
Combine with chilled rice, pineapple tidbits or chunks, tuna and green pepper.
Mix lightly.
Chill until ready to serve.
Fold in cherry-tomato halves.
