Spicy Fruit Salad
|Canned pineapple tidbits||8 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned pear halves||8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Orange||1 , peeled and sectioned|
Advance preparation: In medium saucepan combine undrained pineapple tidbits, un-drained pear halves, and lemon juice.
Tie stick cinnamon and whole cloves in cheese cloth bag; add to fruit mixture.
Bring mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Add orange sections.
Cover; refrigerate several hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.
Before serving: Drain fruit mixture.
Remove and discard spice bag.
Arrange fruit on lettuce-lined plates.
