Beans And Sweet Pickle Salad
|Cooked dried beans||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Sliced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped sweet pickles||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ripe tomato||1 Small, chopped|
|Minced onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Salad oil||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Cider vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground cloves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Greens||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vegetables||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed For Garnish)|
Mix beans with celery, pickles, tomato, and onion.
Place remaining ingredients except greens in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake until well blended.
Pour salad dressing over bean mixture.
Marinate for 1 hour.
Serve salad on bite-size pieces of salad greens.
Garnish with chopped cucumber, chopped green pepper, chopped scallions, slices of hard-cooked eggs, and strips of cooked beets.
