Double Apple Salad
|Lemon-flavored gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling cider/Apple juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Tart apples||2 Medium|
|Diced celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Broken walnuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Diced pimiento||2 Tablespoon|
Dissolve gelatin in cider.
Chill till partially set.
Cover bottom of 1-quart mold with thin layer of gelatin mixture.
Cut one of the apples (unpared) in wedges and arrange in gelatin in mold; chill till firm.
Meanwhile, pare the other apple and cut in short sticks; add to the remaining gelatin along with remaining ingredients.
Pour over firm gelatin in mold.
Chill until firm.
