Spicy Okra And Chickpea Salad

Ingredients
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Finely chopped onion 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Okra 1 1⁄4 Pound (About 6 Cups)
  Canned chickpeas/Garbanzo beans 15 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Canned tomato puree 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Ground cumin 1 Tablespoon
  Red wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Crushed red pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic clove 1 Large, crushed
Directions

Heat oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat until hot.
Add onion; saute 3 minutes.
Add okra; saute 5 minutes.
Add chickpeas and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.
Spoon into a bowl; cover and chill.
