Fresh Fruit Salad
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Strawberries||250 Gram (1/4 Punnet)|
|Watermelon||1 Pound (500 Gram)|
|Black grapes||2 Ounce (60 Gram)|
Put water and sugar in a small saucepan, stir until sugar dissolves.
Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer uncovered 5 minutes, cool.
Peel pineapple, cut into small cubes.
Peel orange with a sharp knife, deep enough to allow the orange flesh to show.
Cut into segments between the membranes.
Hull strawberries; cut in half if large.
Remove rind and seeds from watermelon, cut into small cubes.
Remove stalks from grapes.
Cut passionfruit in half, scoop out pulp.
Cut unpeeled pear into quarters, remove core, cut into small cubes.
Combine prepared fruits in a large bowl, add cooled syrup, toss lightly until combined.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
