Red Pear & Cheese Salad
|Red pears||3 Medium|
|Chevre/Parmesan cheese/ romano cheese||4 Ounce (Such As Bucheron Or Montrachet)|
|Dijon vinaigrette||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
Cut pears in half from stem through blossom end; core.
Cut a wedge from blossom end, making a 3/4-inch-wide cut.
Eat wedges or discard.
Brush cut surfaces with lemon juice.
Place each pear half on a salad plate.
Cut cheese into 6 equal triangles and stuff into wedge-shaped space in pears.
Drizzle pears with Dijon Vinaigrette; sprinkle with pepper and garnish with cilantro.
Season to taste with salt.
