Ingredients
7 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
1/2 teaspoon leaf basil, crumbled
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup water
2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon OR: 2 chicken-bouillon cubes
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups finely chopped rom
Directions

1 Sauté onion with basil in butter or margarine until soft in medium-size saucepan; stir in water, instant chicken bouillon or cubes, sugar and Worcestershire sauce; heat, stirring until bouillon is dissolved; remove from heat.
