Festive Red And White Salad

Ingredients
  Red cinnamon candies 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon flavor gelatin 3 Ounce (1 Package)
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sweetened apple sauce 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce, softened (1 Package)
  Chopped nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Mayonnaise 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Dissolve cinnamon candies and gelatin in boiling water.
Add applesauce; mix well.
Pour half of mixture in 8" square baking pan.
Chill until firm.
Let remaining gelatin mixture stand at room temperature.
Stir cream cheese until smooth.
Add nuts and celery; mix well.
Stir in mayonnnaise.
Spread over chilled gelatin layer.
Pour remaining gelatin mixture evenly on top.
Chill until firm.
Cut in squares.
