Tossed Green Salad
|Romaine heads/Red leaf / iceberg lettuce||2|
|Cucumber||1 , peeled|
|Tomatoes||4 Medium, cut into quarters|
|Green onions||4 , finely chopped|
|Chopped parsley/Parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Tear lettuce into bite-size pieces; place in serving bowl and refrigerate, covered with damp paper toweling, to crispen.
Slice cucumber in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds.
Coarsely chop cucumber.
Toss chopped cucumber, tomatoes, onions, basil and lettuce to mix well.
Pour dressing on salad and toss to coat.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
