Cherry Salad With Sesame Seed
|Sesame orange dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Iceberg lettuce head||1 Medium|
|Pineapple/1 can, 1 pound 13 ounce pineapple chunks, drained||1 Small, peeled, cored, and cut into bite size chunks (1 Can)|
|Pitted cherries||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Bing / Royal Ann)|
|Lemon juice||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
Prepare sesame-orange dressing; set aside.
Line a salad bowl with outer lettuce leaves; break remaining lettuce into bite-size pieces.
Halve cantaloupe, scoop out seeds, and remove fruit.
Discard shell; cut fruit into bite-size pieces.
Peel, pit, and cut avocado in bite-size pieces; mix with lettuce pieces, cantaloupe, avocado, pineapple, cherries, salt, and lemon juice.
Pile into lettuce-lined salad bowl.
Pass dressing to spoon over individual servings
