Lemon Papaya Salad

Ingredients
  Lemon gelatin 3 Ounce (1 Package)
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cream cheese 3 Ounce, softened (1 Package)
  Egg yolk 1
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Dairy sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shredded lemon peel 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg white 1
  Papaya 1 Medium, seeded peeled and diced
  Leaf lettuce 4
Directions

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; cool to room temperature.
In a large mixing bowl combine cream cheese, egg yolk, and salt; mix thoroughly.
Stir in sour cream, lemon peel, and lemon juice.
Stir cooled gelatin mixture into sour cream mixture.
Chill till partially set.
Gently fold in egg white and papaya.
Chill till amost firm.
Turn into a 4-cup ring mold.
Chill till firm.
Unmold salad on lettuce-lined platter.
