Cheese Salad Ring
|Unflavored gelatin||2 Teaspoon|
|Cold water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cottage cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Blue cheese||1⁄4 Pound, crumbled|
|Parsley||2 Tablespoon, snipped|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Seasoned salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Onion||2 Tablespoon, minced|
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), whipped|
Sprinkle gelatin over water to soften; stir over hot water until dissolved.
Blend into cottage cheese and blue cheese; then add parsley, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, salt and onion.
Fold in cream.
Turn into 1 1/4-quart ring mold.
Refrigerate until set.
At serving time, unmold on salad greens.
Fill with your favorite fruit salad or cooked vegetable salad.
