Black Cherry Salad

Ingredients
  Canned dark sweet cherry pie filling 21 Ounce (1 Can, Comstock)
  Black cherry jello 6 Ounce (1 Package)
  Boiling water 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Canned crushed pineapple 8 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Philadelphia cream cheese 8 Ounce (1 Package)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sour cream 1⁄2 Pint
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add pie filling and pineapple to mixture.
Pour into 2 quart flat Pyrex bowl.
Chill until firm.
Combine cream cheese, sugar, sour cream and vanilla.
Spread over congealed salad.
Top with chopped nuts.
