Ham And Cheese Rice Salad
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling salted water||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Pre cooked rice||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs) (Packaged)|
|Mayonnaise||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Chopped dill pickle||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Slivered swiss cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Slivered cooked ham||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Tomato slices||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Add peas to the boiling water; cover and cook until water boils again.
Stir in rice.
Cover, remove from heat, and let stand 10 minutes.
With a fork, mix in mayonnaise, dill pickle, and grated onion.
At serving time, arrange in 4 to 6 individual casseroles edged with crisp lettuce, or pile into a lettuce-lined bowl.
Top salads with slivers of Swiss cheese and ham.
Garnish with tomato slices.
Offer additional mayonnaise.
