Dill Cucumber Salad
|Cucumbers||5 Medium, peeled and thinly sliced|
|Onions||1 1⁄2 Medium, thinly sliced and separated into rings|
|White wine vinegar||6 Tablespoon (1/4 Cup Plus 2 Tablespoons)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sugar||4 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Minced fresh dill/1 1/2 teaspoons dried dill||4 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. Place the cucumbers and onions in a shallow dish. Combine the dressing ingredients in a small bowl, and pour over the vegetables. Toss to mix well.
2. Cover the salad and chill for several hours or overnight, stirring occasionally, before serving.
