Cabbage Salad

Ingredients
  White cabbage 1 Small
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon (With Lemon Juice)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped chives 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Chopped parsley 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Quarter the cabbage and remove the tough stalk.
Shred the quarters across the gram in very thin slivers.
Soak in ice cold salted water for a half hour to crisp.
Dry in a tea cloth.
Rub the bowl with the crushed clove of garlic.
Add shredded cabbage, chives, parsley, and seasoning.
Toss in the oil and lemon juice (or use the mayonnaise).
