Spicy Cucumber-Orange Salad
|Cucumber||1 , thinly sliced (Hot House Variety)|
|Orange||1 Large, peeled, thinly sliced and cut in quarters|
|Red onion||1⁄2 , thinly sliced and separated into rings|
|Fresh anaheim chile||1 Large, seeded and chopped|
|White vinegar||240 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Salad oil||80 Milliliter (1/3 Cups)|
|Fresh oregano/1 teaspoons crushed dried oregano||15 Milliliter, crushed (1 Tablespoon)|
|Fresh sage/1 teaspoon ground dried sage||2 Teaspoon, chopped (10 Milliliters)|
|Fresh cilantro||15 Milliliter, chopped (1 Tablespoon)|
|Salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon (3 Milliliters)|
|Ground black pepper||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliters)|
In a deep glass bowl toss together the cucumber slices, orange pieces, onion and Chile.
In a covered container place the vinegar, oil and remaining ingredients; shake together until blended.
Pour over salad mixture; stir to coat all ingredients.
Cover and chill 3 hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.
