  Heart of romaine 1
  Tomatoes 3 Medium, cubed
  Cucumbers 2 , peeled and diced
  Green bell pepper 1
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Finely chopped fresh parsley 4 Tablespoon
  Mint/2 teaspoon dried mint 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), mashed with a pinch of salt
  Olive oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Pita bread 1 , toasted and cut into small pieces
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Combine and toss gently in a wooden salad bowl the lettuce, the vegetables, the parsley, and the mint.
Mix the mashed garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt and pepper; add to salad and toss well.
Chill for approximately 1 hour before serving.
