Molded Grapefruit Salad
|Grape fruit||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Unflavored gelatin||2 Tablespoon (2 Envelopes)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Dessert apple||1 , cored and chopped|
|Celery stalks||3 , chopped|
1. Drain the syrup from the grapefruit and add sufficient water to make 1 cup.
2. Soften the gelatin in a little of the syrup for 5-10 minutes. Then stir over hot water until melted. Add the rest of the syrup and lemon juice and leave in a cold place until it begins to thicken.
3. Stir in the grapefruit, apple, and celery. Pour into a prepared mold or into individual molds and refrigerate until set.
