Green And White Vegetable Salad

Green and white vegetable salad is a mixed vegetable salad made with broccoli and cauliflower flowrets. With added green onions and celery, the green and white vegetable salad is dressed with mayonnaise and cream. Chilled to serve, it goes well with almost all homely meals.
Ingredients
  Fresh broccoli 1 Pound
  Cauliflower head 1 Medium, broken into flowerets
  Finely chopped celery 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Green onions 6 , finely chopped
  Mayonnaise/Salad dressing 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Whipping cream 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Remove large leaves of broccoli, and cut off tough ends of lower stalks; discard.
Wash broccoli thoroughly, and cut into 1 inch pieces.
Combine broccoli, cauliflower, celery, and green onions in a large bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients, stirring until blended.
Pour mayonnaise mixture over vegetables; toss lightly to coat.
Cover and chill thoroughly.
