Mixed Fruit Salad
Fruit salad made with a medley of fruits with added walnuts and coconut is a real treat for the tastebuds. Perfect for the summer when fresh fruits are in plenty, this fruit salad is sweet and can be tossed with sugar to serve.
|Canned pineapple chunks||29 Ounce (1 Can, No. 2 1/2 Size)|
|Canned mandarin orange sections||20 Ounce, drained (1 Can, No. 2 Size)|
|Apple||1 Large, peeled, cored and chopped|
|Flaked coconut||7 Ounce (1 Package, Angel)|
|Maraschino cherries||8 Ounce, halved (1 Small Bottle)|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Seedless green grapes||1⁄2 Pound, cut into half|
|Bananas||2 , peeled and chopped|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Fresh peaches||2 Large, peeled, seeded and chopped|
Place all items in a mixing bowl; you determine the size.
Mix all well and stir until sugar is dissolved.
