Rice And Ham Salad
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Garlic clove||1 Medium, minced|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Diced fully cooked ham||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Uncooked rice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Processed swiss cheese||4 Ounce, shredded|
In skillet, cook rice over low heat till lightly browned.
Add water, onion, soy sauce, and garlic; mix well.
Cover; cook 20 minutes or till rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Add ham and celery; heat through.
Stir in mayonnaise, vinegar, cayenne, and cheese.
To serve, top with additional Swiss cheese, if desired
