Wilted Spinach Bacon Salad
|Red onion||1⁄2 Large, coarsely chopped|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Fresh spinach leaves||6 Ounce, cleaned and torn into bite sized pieces|
|Turkey bacon slices||8 , cut into 1 inch pieces (Louis Rich)|
Place spinach leaves in large serving bowl; set aside.
Combine Turkey Bacon and onion in large nonstick skillet.
Cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until bacon begins to brown, stirring occasionally.
In small bowl, combine remaining dressing ingredients; stir into Turkey Bacon mixture.
Reduce heat to low and simmer 3 minutes.
Pour over spinach leaves and toss.
