Guava And Yogurt Side Salad
|Natural yogurt||300 Gram|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Canned whole guavas||3 , drained, seeded and chopped (3 Cans)|
|Ghee/Clarified butter||1 Tablespoon|
|Mustard seeds||1 Teaspoon|
|Green chili||1 , seeded and finely chopped|
|Chopped fresh coriander||1 Teaspoon (To Garnish)|
Beat the yogurt and lemon juice until smooth, then stir in the guavas.
Heat the ghee in a small frying pan, add the mustard seeds, cover and cook over a medium heat until the seeds begin to pop.
Remove from the heat, add the chilli and then fry gently for 10 seconds, stirring constantly.
Stir the contents of the pan into the yogurt mixture.
Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.
Sprinkle the salad with the coriander before serving.
