Salade De Tomates

Salade de tomates is a lovely french tomato salad herbed with chives and basil. Dressed with a light vinegar-oil dressing with garlic and mustard for taste, the salade de tomates is great aside meats and grilled fish.
Ingredients
  Tomatoes 1 Pound, thinly sliced (450 Grams)
  Chives 2 Tablespoon, chopped
  Basil 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Olive oil 2 Fluid Ounce (50 Milliliters)
  Wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon (Dressing)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed (Dressing)
  French mustard 1 Teaspoon (Dressing)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

First make the dressing.
Put all the ingredients into a screw top jar and shake vigorously to blend.
Arrange the tomato slices, slightly overlapping, in a serving dish.
Pour over the dressing, then sprinkle with chives and basil.
Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving.
