Apple And Chestnut Salad

Ingredients
  Red onion 1 Large, thinly sliced
  Tart apples 3 Large, cored, pared and then thinly sliced
  Cucumbers 2 , peeled and then thinly sliced
  Pimiento slices 3
  Vegetable oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lime juice/Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sea salt 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), crushed
  Chestnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely grated (Cooked)
Directions

Combine onion, apples, cucumbers, and pimiento in a salad bowl.
Mix together vegetable oil, lime or lemon juice, sea salt, and garlic.
Pour over salad and marinate 1 hour.
Sprinkle hot grated chestnuts over salad
