Marinated Bean Salad
|Canned cut green beans||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned cut yellow wax beans||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Vinegar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Mixed pickling spices||1 Teaspoon|
|Non caloric liquid sweetener||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Equal To 1/4 Cup Sugar)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bacon slices||2 , crisp cooked and crumbled|
Drain beans, reserving 1/2 CUP liquid.
Heat bean liquid with vinegar, 1/3 cup water, and spices.
Boil 2 to 3 minutes.
Cool and strain.
Stir in sweetener.
Combine beans and celery; add dressing.
Cover and chill 6 hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.
Before serving, top with bacon.
