Green Salad With Creamy Dressing
|Bacon rashers||6 , chopped|
|Lettuces||2 , leaves separated (Of Choice)|
|Tomatoes||250 Gram, halved|
|Carrots||2 , cut into strips|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (125 Grams)|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (125 Grams)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1|
Cook bacon in a frying pan over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until crisp.
Remove bacon from pan and drain on absorbent kitchen paper until cool.
Arrange lettuces, tomatoes, carrots, celery, peas and bacon on a serving platter or in a large salad bowl.
To make dressing, place mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice and black pepper to taste in a bowl and mix to combine.
Drizzle dressing over salad, cover and chill until required.
