Shell Macaroni Salad
|Elbow macaroni/Shell macaroni||10 Ounce|
|Commercial french dressing||4 Tablespoon|
|Chopped celery||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Minced sweet onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped tart cucumber pickle/Chopped stuffed olives||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely cubed cheese/Finely cubed ham / cooked meat / fish||1 Cup (16 tbs), cooked|
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing of choice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain thoroughly and rinse with cold water.
Add enough French dressing to coat the macaroni; chill thoroughly.
Drain off any excess dressing and combine macaroni with other ingredients, using enough mayonnaise or salad dressing to bind the ingredients together.
