Strawberry Delight Salad
|Sliced fresh strawberries||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Strawberry flavored gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||1⁄2 Pint, whipped|
Sprinkle sugar over berries; let stand 30 minutes.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Drain berries, reserving juice; add enough water to juice to make 1 cup and add to gelatin.
Chill until partially set.
Combine marshmallows and milk.
Heat in top of double boiler and stir until marshmallows melt; cool thoroughly, and fold in whipped cream.
Add berries to gelatin and fold in marshmallow mixture.
Pour into a 1 quart mold and chill until set.
