Red And Green Salad
|Lime flavored gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pimientos||4 Ounce, drained and chopped (1 Jar)|
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce, softened|
|Crushed pineapple||1 Can (10 oz), undrained|
|Finely chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||1⁄2 Pint, stiffly whipped|
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; chill.
Mix pimiento and cream cheese until smooth.
When partially thickened, beat gelatin and add to cream cheese mixture.
Fold in pineapple and celery.
Have whipped cream very stiff before folding into gelatin mixture.
Chill until firm.
