Cherry Jubilee Salad

Ingredients
  Pitted dark sweet cherries 1 Can (10 oz), drained, liquid reserved
  Currant jelly 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sherry 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Black cherry flavored gelatin 3 Ounce (1 Package)
  Lemon juice 4 Tablespoon
  Chopped pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine cherry liquid, jelly, and sherry in saucepan; bring to a boil and stir until jelly has melted.
Pour over gelatin and stir until gelatin has dissolved.
Cool slightly and add lemon juice and cherries.
Chill until partially set; stir in pecans.
Chill until firm.
