Refreshing Shrimp Salad
|Shrimp||3⁄4 Pound, cooked peeled deveined (Fresh / Frozen)|
|Shredded cabbage||1 Quart|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced|
|Commercial sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped dill/1/4 teaspoon dill weed||1⁄2 Teaspoon, chopped|
|Ground nutmeg||1 Dash|
|Blanched slivered almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cut large shrimp in half.
Combine shrimp, cabbage, and green pepper; chill.
Combine sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings to make dressing; chill.
Add almonds and dressing to shrimp mixture; toss lightly.
