Bananas Au Rum
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ripe bananas||6 , halved|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Rum||1 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
Melt butter in top pan of chafing dish over direct heat; add bananas.
Sprinkle with one half of sugar and a dash of cinnamon.
Cook until bananas are lightly browned.
Turn and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Cook until soft; add rum and ignite.
Serve with the liquid as accompaniment for pork or other meats.
