Rum Trifle

Ingredients
  Rum 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Slivered almonds 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), toasted
  Golden raisins 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vanilla pudding mix 3 Ounce
  Whipping cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), whipped
  Angel food cake 10 Ounce, cut into 0.5-inch cubes
  Whipping cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl, let stand 1 hour.
Prepare pudding mix according to package directions using 2 1/2 cups milk, cool.
Fold whipped cream into pudding.
Layer one-third each of cake, raisin mixture, and pudding in a 3 1/2-quart glass bowl, repeat layers twice, ending with pudding.
Cover and chill at least 3 hours.
Before serving, beat 1/2 cup whipping cream until soft peaks form, spread over trifle.
Garnish with almonds and strawberries, if desired.
