Pineapple Rum Sauce
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pineapple juice||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Rum flavoring||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a medium saucepan; mix well.
Stir in pineapple juice; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove from heat; stir in butter and rum flavoring.
Serve warm or chilled over ice cream or pound cake.
