Pineapple Rum Sauce
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Corn starch||2 Tablespoon|
|Pineapple juice||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Rum flavoring||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1) Take a medium saucepan and combine together cornstarch and sugar in it.
2) Add pineapple juice and cook over medium heat or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
3) Remove the mixture from heat.
4) Stir in rum flavoring and butter.
5) Serve the Pineapple Rum Sauce over pound cake or ice cream.
