Honey Rum Grapefruit Flambé
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Unsalted butter||4 Teaspoon|
|Golden rum||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Arrange a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil on the grill. Spray foil with nonstick spray and prepare grill for low heat.
2. Cut the grapfruit in half and place on the foil, cut-side down. Close the lid and heat for 3-4 minutes.
3. Turn the grapefruit over and drizzle with honey. Close lid and heat for 3 more minutes, then transfer to a flame-proof platter.
4. Run a knife around the grapefruit sections without cutting through the skin. Dot with butter, and drizzle with rum. Light with a match and serve flaming.
